A 401(k) plan is essentially a savings account for your retirement. It allows employees to put money, before taxes are taken out, into the account, Speedy Arches will also match a portion of the amount of money you put in the 401(k)plan. Speedy Arches Ltd. will match 20% of up to 5% of an employee's yearly earnings. Employees who have been with Speedy Arches Ltd. for at least one year and are of 21 years of age, may be qualified to participate in the 401(k) benefit plan. There are two times a year when you are able to enroll in the 401(k)plan, January 1st and July 1st.

At many places of employment it is a requirement to purchase uniforms or clothing that fits within the dress code after being hired........but not at McDonald's! At McDonald's we offer uniforms free of charge to all of our managers and crew members. After an employee is hired, they will receive their uniform before they begin working. At McDonald's you are not taking any money out of your own pocket for the uniform that you are required to wear to work.

At McDonald's we understand that you are probably involved in other activities and have obligations outside of work, such as family or school. That is why we work with you to create a schedule that fits both your needs, as well as the needs of the restaurant. We will actively work with you to set up a work schedule that fits in well with the other activities that you may be involved in. Sometimes it is easy to forget that not all jobs offer the flexibility to work around your other obligations. We take pride in being a family friendly employer! The goal of our managers is to post the work schedule at least four days prior to the beginning of the next work week.

Some retail stores will give their employees discounts on purchases at their stores as an added benefit for working there. At McDonald's we don't just give you a discount but we give you your meals for FREE each and every time you work! When you work a shift that is more than 5 hours you can get up to $4.55 of food for FREE. When you work a shift less than 5 hours you can get up to $3.50 of food for FREE! Let's go a little more in depth with what the FREE Employee Meals can really add up to. $4.55 per Employee meal X 5 days a week = $22.75 $22.75 per week in Employee meals X 52 weeks = $1,183.00 a year in Employee meals For someone who works 5 days a week, at least 5 hours a day, for 52 weeks of the year, we offer them almost $1200 in FREE Employee Meals, and some businesses don't offer their employees meals or benefits like this at all!

The McDonald's Insurance Program is available to all employees. There are two plans to choose from: Basic Medical Coverage and Mid 5 Medical Coverage. All Medical Coverage Includes: Prescription Drug Coverage, $20 Office Visit Co-Pay, and $150 per year Wellness Benefit. Other Available Options Include: Dental, Term Life, Accidental Death, Short-Term Disability, and Value Added Discount Program. Additional insurance is available for managers.
